Agriculture & Natural Resources, Our goal is to assist and educate local farmers, businesses, homeowners, gardeners and Master Gardener Extension Volunteers with information about plant identification, plant diseases, insect identification, pest control, and soil and water testing. We offer?monthly Lunch & Learn classes, private and commercial pesticide licensing, weekly farmer's market, soil and water lab analysis, and consultations with a 海角官方首页 Agriculture agent.

4-H Youth Development, Henry County's future leaders learn life skills through hands-on learning experiences. 4-H is considered one of the world's largest youth clubs offering today's youth grades 5th-12th a variety of clubs, programs, summer camp and activities.

Family & Consumer Sciences, Provides education in the community?on topics including: healthy eating and cooking, as well as quarterly Serv Safe Managers Training Certifications, and quarterly Child Care Provider credit hours. The Family and Consumer Science agent also offers counseling in a variety of areas. These include: Health education, financial planning, diabetic meal planning, and food safety.

County Extension Coordinator

Timothy Daly is a native of Atlanta. He received two degrees from the University of Georgia: a BSA in Horticulture and an MS in Entomology. He worked in the commercial landscape industry for many years in Atlanta. Timothy also worked for a large home builder to establish an environmental compliance program regarding erosion, sedimentation, and stormwater mitigation.

?He came to 海角官方首页 Extension in 2006, served as the ANR Agent in Gwinnett County for 16 years, and transferred to Henry County in 2022. Timothy has conducted many programs for the green industry and is an active member of professional organizations such as the Georgia Urban Agriculture Council, the Georgia Green Industry Association, and the Georgia Arborist Association. Henry County has many Master Gardener Extension Volunteers who engage in numerous outreach programs.?

Timothy became the Interim County Extension Coordinator in 2024.?
