Our Impact

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COUNTY

HEARD COUNTY

The local Heard County 4-H Program has created , presented, and shared a vaping curriculum with over 1200 students ranging from 5th -12th Grade? and youth development professionals from across the state and country.? The focus being to provide learning opportunities and factual evidence so students could understand the dangers of using? E-Cigs (Vapes) and the likelihood of these products being laced with fentanyl and/or? other harmful drugs. Hopefully, they would share the dangers of vaping with others, as a result of this program.? While it does not replace parental guidance and counseling, it does serve as a starting point in tackling this national problem that's affecting our youth.
