About Union County Ag
Union County’s major agricultural product is ornamental horticulture. As of the , Union County has approximately 19,000+ acres in farm land with a farm gate value of over $36,593,000. ?We also have a research farm,? in conjunction with the University of Georgia Extension which is a premier research site in Georgia. ?In addition to ornamental horticulture, Union County produces livestock, poultry, sweet sorghum, fresh vegetables, hay, sweet corn, wine grapes and soybeans.?
