Wilderness Challenge Camp

Wilderness Challenge Camp

In summer 2025 Wilderness Challenge Camp will be held at Wahsega 4-H Center from June 23-27th. Camp cost is $440 and includes all activities, insurance, and transportation from our office.An initial deposit of $100 is non-refundable. Payment plans are available (if this would be a good fit for your family, email susan.mamrick@uga.edu), all fees due by June 2nd.

Georgia 4-H's Wilderness Challenge Camp at Wahsega 4-H Center offers a fun filled outdoor summer program for 7th and 8th graders. This camp offers great adventures, friendships, and fun. Tentative activities during the week include a canopy zip line tour, whitewater rafting, river swimming, an overnight camp out, wilderness classes, and night recreation!

REMEMBER, from 7th-12th grade any youth who plans to attend summer camp must participate in a judging team or Project Achievement. Most of these events take place before March so talk to us TODAY if you are planning for next year. Contact Ms. Heather for more information heather.haines@uga.edu.?
