Summer Camp

During the summer Evans County 4-H is pleased to be able to offer several different camping opportunities for our 4-H'ers including Cloverleaf, Junior, and Senior camp for students in 5th-12th grades.?Summer Camp Promotion is in January each year during 4-H Club Meetings.?

How Do I Sign Up?
Registration can ONLY be done at the 4-H office during business hours. Please DO NOT send the registration form to school or by mail. Only a parent or legal guardian may sign a child up to attend camp. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure a spot for camp. All spaces are on a first come basis, so sign up as early as possible to ensure a spot. If you have questions, call us at 739-1292

Cloverleaf Camp Teen Leaders

What is a?Teen Leader?

A teen leader is a (much relied upon!)?individual that assists our camp counselors with activities?and provides a helping hand and watchful eye to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our campers. Teen leaders must be in 9th - 12th grades.

Why Become a Teen Leader

  • Provides a unique?opportunity for teens looking to gain a practical, working knowledge of how to be a leader at camp, school, and in life.
  • Opens teens up to exciting community service opportunities.
  • Adds important leadership and community service experience to your resume for college and future employment.
  • Teen Leaders learn the skills to be an effective camp counselor and the program opens the door to a possible future working at camp!

Cloverleaf Camp Adult Volunteer Leaders

Why volunteer at camp?

  • Impact 4-H members by creating a lifetime of memories and skills with them
  • Free week-long "vacation" at a 4-H center
  • Positive role model for youth

Responsible for:?

  • Supervising children during the entire 4-H camp session
  • Assisting with 4-H camp classes, programs, and activities
  • Being on-time and present for all assigned activities
  • Cooperating with other volunteers and staff at camp
  • Enforcing the 4-H Code of Conduct and camp policies
  • Administering routine prescribed medications and treatment of minor injuries.
