SNAP Education

SNAP Education (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education) is the nutrition promotion and obesity prevention component of?SNAP.

We have a collection of low-cost, healthy SNAP recipes.?States provide nutrition education and obesity prevention interventions for low-income people who are eligible for SNAP or other means-tested Federal assistance programs.

We provide Georgians with free ideas on keeping healthy by making nutritious food choices on a budget. Our outreach includes in-person and online classes, social marketing, and policy, systems, and environment interventions (PSE) across the state.
