Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Training Class (MGEV)

Registration for the 2025 Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Training Class is closed.? If you are interested in or have questions about the 2026 class,?please contact us at uge1139@uga.edu or 770-535-8293.?The classes are held each Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., January-April, at the Hall County Extension Office.? We will accept applications for the 2026 class beginning in August 2025.??

Master Gardener Extension Volunteers are representatives of the University of Georgia Extension. As a volunteer, you assist Extension staff with community programs relating to horticulture and the environment. You do not need to know everything about gardening – you will learn more and more as you participate in the program.?You do need to have an interest in learning and giving back to your community. With your Master Gardener certificate, you will be working with Hall County Extension to deliver timely, research-based information.
