Extension Serves the Entire Community
Glynn County Extension offers a wealth of information and services to residents of our county. Our Agriculture and Natural Resources programs provide research-based information, educational programming, and resources to homeowners and commercial clientele in areas of landscape maintenance, pest control, wildlife control, vegetable and fruit production, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, turf-grass and alternative agriculture production. Water and soil testing information and access to 海角官方首页 publications are available through our office as well.

Dec 3 Homesteading Skills: Pantry Pests and Storage Join Pike County Extension in 2025 for the Lunch and Learn series that will dive into homesteading skills. These monthly sessions are covered by experts and hosted on the second Wednesday of each month at 12pm (with the exception of holidays). Dec 4 Houseplants and the Holidays 2.0 Last December’s holiday houseplant class was so fun, we’re doing it again (and with more information!)! Learn all the basics of decorating your home and office for the holidays with houseplants, including how to care for those plants once the holidays have passed. We’ll also learn how to make some plant-themed gifts for the holidays. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, New Year’s, or you just like a festive home in the wintertime, you won’t want to miss this one.

Dec 17 Category 41 Mosquito Control Training Henry County Extension is offering a webinar to help prepare those who are planning to take the Georgia Pesticide Applicator Licensing Exam in Category 41 Mosquito Control to pass it. The workshop will cover ONLY the Mosquito Control section and NOT the Core Manual (General Standards). For those who already have the license, five pesticide applicator recertification credits will be offered in Category 41 Mosquito Control.

We will use native vines, cones, and flowers to create these masterpieces. Learn about some native plants while we discuss methods to creating a beautiful wreath.
