Junior Project Achievement
Junior 4-H'ers are invited to spend a weekend at Rock Eagle to compete in DPA. To attend, 4-H'ers must first turn in a portfolio, worth 40% of their total score, detailing their relevant project work and other activities competed during the previous calendar year. Next, 4-H'ers will prepare a 7 - 9 minute long speech, worth 60% of their total score, with visual aids to present to their peers and to judges during the competition in March.
Important Dates
Portfolio Workshops: September 22, 29 and October 6 afterschool until 5:00 p.m. at the 4-H Office.? You can also make an appointment to get help with your portfolio if these dates do not work.?
December 20, 2021: Portfolio (Rough Draft) due
January 10, 2022: Portfolio (Final Draft) due
February 2022: DPA practice days. Please contact Mrs. Kelle or Ms. Allison to make an appointment
March 4-6, 2022: DPA at Rock Eagle 4-H Center
